The NSW Government’s Drought Relief Loan is designed to support primary producers as they respond to the escalating impacts of drought.
With an upfront payment option, reduced documentation requirements, and no requirement for property as loan security, a Drought Relief Loan of up to $100,000 can help farmers not only recover from drought but also strengthen long‑term sustainability.
The loan can be used to fund a wide range of products, activities and services, including animal welfare, environmental improvements, and on-farm infrastructure.
Applications are now open and will continue to be accepted until program funding is exhausted.
Please refer to the program guidelines for details, including eligibility criteria.
