NSW Water Regulations
Installing a rainwater tank is a smart way to reduce water bills, conserve resources, and support sustainable living. If you’re considering adding a water tank to your property, you may be eligible for council rebates across New South Wales (NSW). Many local councils offer water tank rebate programs to encourage homeowners, businesses, and rural properties to invest in rainwater harvesting systems.
These rebates can help offset the cost of purchasing and installing a water tank, making it easier to comply with NSW water conservation regulations while enjoying the benefits of sustainable water use.

Orange City Council
To apply for the rebate you must be an owner of the property where the tank is installed. You must instal your tank before applying for the rebate.

Rous County Council Rebate
